It's with sadness we advise that Kitchen Farm will close its doors for an extended period after trade on Sunday 30 August.

We opened five years ago as a pop-up coffee shop, then a small weekend breakfast café, and grew into a fully functioning destination café and restaurant - further than we ever imagined. That growth is thanks to our dedicated team, our unique offering, and the beautiful customers who kept pulling up a chair.

These beautiful historic buildings have reached their limit. They were never built for a kitchen operating at this scale, and we've paused trade more than once over the last few years to refit and adapt. We're now at the point where a small renovation won't cut it - any real fix means significant infrastructure investment. So we need to close for at least the next six months.

We've poured everything into this place and we're proud of what we built. The regenerative mission behind this business, and behind me, still lives on - it's never been more important to support local and choose the small operators who carry our regions.

We know this will disappoint our regulars, who've made this a place of genuine connection and great food. We ask for your patience and understanding as we take the time and space needed to do this properly.

We hope to share more once we know more. Stay close so we can keep you updated - and we'd love to see you over these last few days of trade. We'll be open as usual until then: Mon, Thu, Fri 8am - 3pm; Sat & Sun 8am - 3.30pm. Closed Tue and Wed.

If you have a gift voucher, come use it before we close. If you can't make it in, email [email protected] to discuss your options.

FUOCO, a few Thursdays back with Enrico Sgarbossa 🍕

Pumpkin agnolotti, vitello tonnato and a wheelbarrow of tiramisu that guests ended up serving themselves from. Seconds were had, obviously.

Followed by roasted marshmallows by the fire and ADELAIDE LIVE MUSIC on vocals all night. A perfect night of collaboration, community and great bloody food!!

Grass-fed beef sirloin, celeriac remoulade, anchovy butter, jus.

And if you're not a fan of anchovies, don't skip the butter - it's warm, subtle, and always the part everyone asks about after.
