FYI! Emotional post incoming. What an absolute ride the last 2.5 years has been. Nothing could have prepared me for the highs and the lows of owning my own business but I’m so glad John & I got to experience it.
As of Friday Little Bean Cafe was officially sold. It wasn’t something we were really looking for initially however it happened and sometimes you just have to trust the process. I lost both my parents when they were both so young and should have had so much more life to live and if it taught me anything it’s that life is incredibly short and anything can happen in a moment to change that. My biggest dream was always making my mum & dad proud and I know without a doubt I’ve done that. Now, for us, it’s time to move house, go on a holiday, plan our next holiday and for me to focus on my two amazing kids!
I want to thank Katie, Jazzy & Darren, they’ve been with us since the very beginning and we truly couldn’t have done any of this without them, I’m so grateful to have them in my life and that will never change. Also thankful for the team who helped us along the way & our new staff members.
We are also so beyond grateful to all of you, for choosing us over the past 2.5 years (though how could you not when we have the best coffee & food ever), I’ve now got the most wonderful friendships with so many new people & that brings me so much happiness.
I look forward to seeing you all over the next 3 weeks as we slowly hand over to the new owner who is a lovely man, he plans on running things just as they are now & you’ll still get to see my amazing team. I will be popping in for coffee most mornings on my way to work so I’ll still see you all & we are only a short drive away to the pub so if you are ever there for lunch or dinner please let me know!
Thank you, to my team & all of you, this is definitely a bittersweet moment ###
