A message of Thanks from Antony and Rebecca Cocker

Good evening everyone,

We would like to take a moment to thank you all.

Thank you to all the staff who worked with us through the good times and the tough times, thank you to all the valued, loyal and repeat customers who helped us through some pretty hard times. Thank you to the family and friends that helped us on supply runs or delivering food for us, and working for us.

Thank you for all the love and new found friendships through some pretty hard times.

Sadly, today we closed the Diner for the last time.

Moving forward, Antony will be starting his new job on November 1st. While I wait to see if I need surgery on my knee again then after the healing process I will begin to look for work.

We are very grateful for everything and for everyone 😔

It is with sadness and a heavy heart that we have to officially announce the closure of Diner on Electra.

We would like to thank all of our customers, patrons, friends and family for all the support and visits over the year and the chance to get to know you all.

Our final day will be this Friday the 15th October 2021.

Today, Diner on Electra would like to announce several promotions we are offering. The first two are special offers and the third is a competition we are running for the rest of September that is free to enter and has a prize offered valued at $75.

1. Aussie BBQ Combo for $12.50 (Includes Beef Aussie BBQ burger, serve of chips and a can of softdrink.)

2. Aussie BBQ Combos for two for only $24 (Why not eat with a friend and double the previous offer and save a little extra.)

3. We are going to choose one review left on Facebook or Google to give a grand prize of lunch on us for one person for an entire working week delivered to you. (Update: due to unexpected circumstances, we have to close early tonight but will be offering this deal Monday and Tuesday of next week. We apologise for the changes and look forward to seeing you next week)

Hey Everyone,

Don’t forget that Today is our final Taco Tuesday! Come in and get your Tacos while we still have them!

On that note checkout our Pay it Forward Box to help those who are doing it tough atm.

On a final note, we would like to announce that in one weeks time (next Tuesday) we will be starting our community meal 🥘 - hoping to feed about 35 people each week that are doing it tough!

For all of our dear customers, who love our tacos 🌮, this Tuesday will be the final day we will be offering the Taco Tuesday offers.

Starting next week, we are offering a pancake for a gold coin donation to our community efforts, all the money from these pancake sales are going towards creating a community meal once a week.

On this note, we hope to feed 35 people on one night per week here at the diner. The intended people we are hoping to help are local families who are doing things tough who find going out for a meal is a luxury that is difficult to justify. While the menu available is going to be limited, it is still a great opportunity to have dinner on us.
