👑 Melissa Westcott - Councillor - Isaac Division 3 - TRIPLE WOW!!! ... I mean, I am in still in incredible AWE watching you and it was such an honour that you attended our event and shared such beautiful thoughts ❤️ 💖

👑 SISSY - "I don't dare say Kristy!!!!" ... seriously I actually even type "Sissy" into Facebook search 😆 ...

Everyone knows that Moranbah's ENERGY doesn't come from that black coal - it comes from ... SISSY!!! She brings the brightest energy, warmest hugs and explosion of character and laughs.

🫠😆 Funny Fact: When I first walked into the venue to my surprise I saw Kristy-Lee Roberts AKA "SISSY" sitting there front and centre, enjoying her own company and having a jolly drinky.

😆 Well, I had a little giggle to myself - What A Surprise ...

Anyway, always so chirpy! Sissy greets us "HEEEEEY FAM - whaaaat's up - whaaaat's happening!!!!"

Me: "haha hey Sissy! We're going to Ava's 15th Birthday Party " ...and I point proudly at my fancy gold purse "and the theme it's Glitz and Glam".

Sissy: Oh wow COOL! Let's GOOO!

Me: "Oh wait what!?? ... um, yeah sure, of course Ava would looove for you to come, your jacket even totally fits the theme"

😆 Sissy had already been at a kids birthday party with me earlier that morning! And now she just invited herself to Ava's little birthday dinner too! ...

Well, I had a little giggle to myself - What A Surprise ...

Sissy jumped up and led us straight towards the first door!

😆 When the doors opened the first thing I saw was a giant colourful balloon display!!!! In that first second, I thought "F&ck! Sissy is so drunk she walked us into someone's private event!!!" ...

Well, I had a little giggle to myself ...

and as I awkwardly read at the sign ...

and dared to glace up around the room ... at all the familiar faces !!!

What A SUUUUUUURPRISE 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

I literally, still pinch myself with ugly tears with how beautiful this moment, these memories, these friends and family are 🥹🥹🥹

Funny Fact: Obviously, you could tell me that the moon was made out of swiss cheese and I'd believe you 🤷🏽‍♀️ ...
.. because, I was in fact utterly and shamelessly tricked and lead to believe that I was attending a Ava's 15th birthday dinner!!!! 🤷🏽‍♀️🫣🫠😆

I'm still processing my emotions of immense gratitude and counting my blessings on how far La Crema Caffe Moranbah has come 🥹🥹🫶🥰

☕️ 20 years of La’Crema! ❤️

There are some people who underpin what makes a community great, and at its core, it always comes back to people.

People who turn up. People who give back. People who ride the very big ups and downs of living and doing business in a mining town. And, most importantly… people who make really great coffee!

It was an absolute pleasure to recognise Jenny Silva and celebrate an incredible 20 years of La Crema Caffe Moranbah.

For two decades, Jenny has pushed through the good years and the tough ones, supported countless local clubs, schools and community groups, provided jobs for so many locals, and created a meeting place that has become part of the fabric of Moranbah.

Jenny, Craig and family, congratulations on an incredible milestone, and thank you for everything you’ve given our community over the past 20 years.

Here’s to many more coffees and conversations! ❤️☕️
