Tiny Minecraft Mates update 😊

We already have a couple of bookings for Saturday. While there are technically 6 spots left, it actually starts feeling pretty full once everyone settles in.

If you're thinking of coming, I'd recommend booking beforehand so nobody misses out.

Just a quick heads up for anyone planning to come to Minecraft Mates this Saturday 😊

We've already had 2 people book, and even though there are technically 7 spots left, the group starts to feel quite full once we're underway at 2pm.

I just don't want anyone to make the trip and miss out because they assumed there would be room on the day.

If you'd like to come along, it might be worth booking ahead just in case 😊

💛 A little note to Brisbane support coordinators...

I know you're often looking for opportunities that help children and young people build friendships, confidence and community connections.

At Little Village Moorooka, we're trying to create a space that sits somewhere between formal therapy and being left to navigate community activities alone.

We're a small, community-focused and neurodiversity-affirming space run by a registered teacher and parent of neurodiverse children.

Current opportunities include:

🎮 Minecraft Mates
🎨 Creative Calm Club
📚 Learning Lounge
🍕 Teen Chill Club

As well as a welcoming community café and affordable space available for groups and services.

I'd genuinely love to connect with local support coordinators, recovery coaches, support workers and disability professionals to learn more about the families you support and how we might work together.

Kids grow fast, but winter can be expensive.

We're collecting plain forest green, royal blue and navy school jumpers and tracksuit pants in good condition to pass on free of charge to local families.

If your children have outgrown their winter uniforms, we'd love to give them a second life and help another family stay warm this winter. ❤️
