We're expanding our pastry team at BAKED and are on the lookout for a passionate full-time Pastry Chef or Cook to join us.
We're looking for someone who is fast, detail-driven and genuinely passionate about baking, pastry and creating seriously tasty treats. You'll take pride in producing quality products consistently and enjoy working as part of a team that cares about great food.
This is a great opportunity for someone who loves baking, enjoys working with quality ingredients, and wants to be part of a supportive and growing team. Whether you're an experienced pastry chef or a cook looking to develop your skills in pastry, we'd love to hear from you.
At BAKED, you'll work alongside an experienced team producing a wide range of gluten-free cakes, pastries, desserts and retail products, all made from scratch in our Moonah bakery.
What we're looking for:
Previous experience in a pastry, bakery or kitchen environment
Strong communication skills
Fast, efficient and able to work well in a busy production environment
Detail-driven with a strong focus on quality and consistency
A genuine passion for baking, pastry and creating seriously tasty treats
A no-problems, only-solutions mindset
Reliability and the ability to work as part of a team
A desire to learn, grow and develop your career

BAKED Gluten Free is looking for a passionate and experienced hospitality professional to join our leadership team.

Since 2017, BAKED has grown into Tasmania's largest specialty gluten free bakery café. Together with our sister businesses, Lottie Lane Coffee Roasters and The Stagg Midtown, we're proud to be building a group of locally owned hospitality businesses focused on quality, community and great customer experiences.

This role is perfect for someone with hospitality experience who is ready to grow into a leadership position and further develop their skills within a supportive and established team.

One thing we're particularly proud of is the number of team members who have built long-term careers with us. Many of our current supervisors and managers started in junior roles and have grown into leadership positions through ongoing upskilling, leadership training, mentorship and support from our management team.
