Main Bar & Gaming | Mon-Sun 10am-late

Bayview Restaurant & Bar | Mon-Sun 11:30am-3pm 5:30pm-late Located on the edge of the Pacific Ocean at Mooloolaba on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, it’s easy to see why so many people love visiting the Surf Club any time of day. The Surf Club was destroyed by fire i

n 1979 so when time came to rebuild, the members of the club voted to create a sophisticated world class venue that would take advantage of the position but always retain the essence of what has endearlingly become known as ‘Australian beach culture’, relaxed, informal and fun, we think they achieved the goal, you be the judge! From morning to night there’s plenty to do. Pop in for a break, enjoy a cappuccino and relax on the deck, or if an ice cold pot of beer or wine is your choice you’ll find a fine selection to meet the occasion. Have a dabble on the Mini TAB or Keno. Join friends on the deck, morning noon or night. There’s live entertainment every Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights as well as Sunday afternoons. All this and more is waiting for you at the Surf Club on the deck.

What a wonderful morning it was at The Surf Club Mooloolaba!

The Women in Seafood event brought together an incredible group of women for a relaxed and welcoming morning filled with connection, shared stories, genuine conversation and plenty of inspiration.

We were honoured to hear from Fiona Simpson, Member for Maroochydore and Minister for Women, Minister for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships, and Minister for Multiculturalism, whose insights and support for women across our communities and industries were greatly appreciated.

From those working directly in seafood, to those supporting the industry, and others simply wanting to learn more and stand beside the people who do, the room was filled with warmth, encouragement and meaningful conversation.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the morning such a memorable success. It was a beautiful reminder of the power of community, connection and supporting one another.

🏖️ The beach is looking better by the day! 🥹

It looks like the crew is only moments away from finishing the clean-up and pushing the sand back where it belongs. It's amazing to watch Mooloolaba Beach transform right before our eyes, and we can't wait to see our beautiful stretch of coastline looking its absolute best again.

If you've been watching the progress as closely as we have, you'll know this is an exciting milestone. Here's hoping we're enjoying those picture-perfect beach views again very soon! 🌊☀️

We'd love to hear what you think—drop your favourite Mooloolaba Beach memory in the comments! 💙

Mooloolaba is one of the most important ports in Queensland and the non-profit Women in Seafood Australasia (WISA) are keen to meet the women behind the scenes. 🐟

This THURSDAY, 16 JULY at 8.30AM the Sunshine Coast hub is holding breakfast at The Surf Club Mooloolaba and I am honoured to be the guest speaker at their first event.

This breakfast event is for the women (and men) in the industry, along with all those involved, both directly and indirectly, as well those simply wanting to understand and stand beside those who are part of the seafood industry.

WISA began more than 25 years ago to support women across all parts of the seafood industry in Australia and New Zealand.

👉Numbers are limited, but there’s STILL TIME TO REGISTER with the QR code.

It promises to be a fantastic morning of connection, conversation and community. I look forward to seeing everyone there!
