The club received sad news that Mike Gill passed away this morning.

Mike Gill started playing bowls at Monbulk in 2007. He played in our Saturday pennant teams for 8 years. He was on the Bowls Committee for 6 years. He ran Wednesday triples for 9 years and was awarded the Clubman of the Year in 2017. Beyond all that he was a really nice bloke who could have a sensible chat about all sorts of topics. His deteriorating health kept him away from bowls for the last few years and he was missed by his many mates at the club.

Rest in Peace Mike.

A great night for the club. More than 70 came along to honour our champions and our volunteers, sharing stories from the season. Congratulations to all the medal winners.
