Father’s Day is stretching across the whole weekend at Wildergreen, with plenty of room to settle in, spread out and spend some proper time together.

Bring a picnic rug and find a sunny patch in the gardens, let the kids run wild through The Playgrounds, or head inside Treehouse for a little more play and discovery with Dad. When everyone’s ready to refuel, Embr is close by for lunch, drinks and something delicious in between all the action.

We’re also putting the Kid’s and Dad’s sense of humour to the test with our Best (or Worst) Dad Joke Competition. Share your finest groaner with us over the weekend and Chef Daniel will draw the winner on Wednesday, with an Embr gift voucher up for grabs.

Spring is arriving at Wildergreen, with warmer afternoons and even more reasons to spend time together in the gardens.

With a new season comes our new spring opening hours across Wildergreen and Embr, giving you plenty of time to plan a long lunch, let the little ones play, settle in for an afternoon drink or simply wander through the precinct as everything begins to bloom again.

There’s a change beginning to stir across Wildergreen.

The afternoons are stretching a little longer, the garden umbrellas are ready to open and the thought of wine outside, long lunches and kids running through The Playgrounds suddenly feels very close again.

As we spend the final weekend of winter soaking up the first hints of what’s ahead, we’re looking forward to Wildergreen coming alive with warmer days, outdoor tables, playful afternoons and more time spent wandering, gathering and lingering in the gardens.

There’s something about a winter afternoon outdoors that makes you want to stay at the table a little longer.

Find a spot outside at Embr, settle beneath the cover and let lunch unfold with wood-fired pizza, handmade pasta, seasonal plates and a bottle of something good to share, all with the Wildergreen gardens stretching out around you.

For our VIC families, the last weekend of school holidays is calling for one more outdoor adventure. For our NSW families, there’s still another week to make the most of slow mornings, muddy shoes, fresh air and time spent away from the screens.

Make a day of it around Echuca Moama. Ride the bikes, wander a bush track, follow the river, explore the local trails or let the kids burn off some energy outdoors before rolling into Wildergreen for the easy part. Park the bikes, find your way to The Playgrounds and Treehouse, settle in for family dining outside or pick up takeaway pizza from Embr and let the gardens do the rest.

Winter weekends were made for finding a good fireside spot and staying there a little longer than planned.

This weekend, order something from Embr, wander into the gardens and settle in by the fire pits with good food, good company and a glass of mulled wine to keep things warm. It is an easy way to make the most of Wildergreen in winter, with wood-fired favourites close by, plenty of space for the kids to explore and a little glow in the air that makes the afternoon feel even better.
