Shanti Café partners with Plastic Free Places North Queensland (part of the Boomerang Alliance), EcoBiz Qld (the Queensland Chamber of Commerce) and Plastic Free July (Plastic Free Foundation) to eliminate or minimise our use of plastic takeaway containers, coffee cups, cutlery, water bottles and other single-use utensils.
We use plant-based and compostable alternatives wherever possible, and offer keep cups at below cost.
