“That’s it folks”
July 2017 to October 2026 was a great time in the bakery. Nothing will beat the OG’s, it was never the same when they left to find another venture.
Luke and I will remember the good times and laughs had and what we did with our staff to build the bakery it is today.
Thank you to our main baker and work husband Simon for your 7 years of dedication and passion to baking and our bakery - without you, we wouldn’t have had the yummy baked goods and creativity - let’s hope these fool proof recipes remain and not tampered with!!!
Our original original Queen of the bakery Glenys Peterson I can never say enough how much of a rock and support person you were when we took over. We knew nothing and along with duchess Jillian Ryles you taught me everything I needed to know to run the bakery to be successful. We met as boss and employees but we remain long lasting friends and now we can catch up with no bakery stressing me out 😂
Karly Harris I cannot thank you enough for all what you did to get Jim to and from work to ensure we had a bakery and I will forever remember Riley and Kelsey as young ones heading in to learn the ropes of baking. You were by far my hardest worker and this is proven by how hard you have worked on your food trailer business and keep working hard at YP wood oven pizza, you are doing an amazing job. Forever Dizzy and long live Zombie by The Cranberries 🥰
We had some amazing staff over the 9 and half years from travellers to school leavers who helped us out when we needed.
It’s been an emotional 2 months waiting for settlement to happen, however we are excited to start the next chapter of our lives. Luke is returning full time to his love of farming and me 🤷🏻♀️ not sure what’s in store……not ready to retire just yet but I will enjoy some time for me, my family and the house!!!!
Thank you to our community far and wide for your ongoing support and we wish the best for the new owners in their journey with Minlaton Bakery
My last vanilla slice fudged and cut 🤩
