Ever since I was a little girl sitting in front of the TV, completely mesmerised by that chocolate cake scene in Matilda, I've been searching for a cake that lived up to the hype.

You know the one...

The ridiculously rich, impossibly moist, chocolate on chocolate masterpiece that made every kid secretly wish they were Bruce (minus the terrifying principal 😅).

After what feels like 50 different recipes, endless tweaks, and more taste testing than I'd care to admit... I can finally say...

I did it.

Meet my Matilda Cake. 🤎
Ultra tender
Incredibly moist.
Melt-in-your-mouth chocolate cake.
Smothered in silky smooth Callebaut chocolate frosting.
The kind of cake that has everyone sneaking "just one more slice."

To celebrate moving into my new premises, I'm offering a special introductory price!

$85 (normally $125)
Feeds:
12 Bruce-worthy slices
20 dessert serves ~ Up to 40 coffee serves when cut in a grid

● Quarter Cake
$25 (normally $35)
Perfect for 3 to 5 generous slices.

A reminder we are now located in MILANG. However I can meet in mt compass or deliver to the noarlunga area with prior arrangement.

Eek! Im excited to start baking in my new space for you all again very soon!

Walls painted. New flooring. Stainless steel benches set up. Waiting on a new oven and some other additional bits and bobs then it is full steam ahead!

I cannot wait to bake in this space 😍

After 6 beautiful years baking from our current location, it’s time for a new chapter… we’re moving to Milang!

I honestly can’t thank you all enough for the support you’ve shown me over the years. Every order, every kind word, every recommendation.
It’s meant the world and helped build this little dream of mine 💛

From June • Pickups will be available from Milang.
Mt Compass pickups will be available by prior arrangement.
Delivery available by prior arrangement.
Postage available for cookie orders

Any previously ordered cakes with a paid deposit will include delivery to the Seaford/Noarlunga area, so you don’t need to worry about a thing!

To make the move a little easier (and save me from packing quite so much stock 😅), I’ll be running a mothers day special...so keep an eye out for that. Cupcakes and cookies will be available.

This move is something really special for my family, and I’m so excited to continue creating for new and original customers from our new space 🫶
