The entire team at Pt. Leo Estate are saddened to learn of the passing of Yayoi Kusama.

We want to thank her for her immense contribution to the avant garde art world, and of course, for her work on Pumpkin 2019 which sits majestically in the Sculpture Park, overlooking the waters of Western Port and providing constant inspiration for our culinary and service teams.

A true pioneer whose creative practices encompassed visual art and sculpture, poetry, fiction and performance, Kusama continued to paint until her last days at age 97.

We are tremendously grateful for all her work and honoured to be the custodians of one her finest pieces.

Winter evenings on the Peninsula call for something a bit special, and this tasting of dark spirits from local distillers JimmyRum, Timboon Distillery and Bass & Flinders delivers. Expect a relaxed, informative night, made for curious drinkers and good conversation.

Guests will be guided through 6 premium spirit tastings by the distillers and enjoy 6 snacks created by our Culinary Director, Josep Espuga.

A special experience, perfect for Father’s Day, crafted for winter, shaped by Victorian makers, and hosted with the renowned warmth and hospitality of Pt. Leo Estate.
