The signature of Centre Thai Cafe and Restaurant comes from the Stupa name “Phra Pathomma Chedi”, the first and biggest holy stupa in Thailand given by King Mongkut, 4th, located in Nakhon Pathom 50 km on the West of Bangkok. It might not be a familiar name but this is a very important city for Thai people, claiming to be the oldest city in the Kingdom. Our family originally from Nakhon Pathom one of the best place that you can get varieties delicious cuisines which incorporates bold flavours, strong aromas and spicy edge to create unique dishes that are distinct to the culture. Form generation to generation, our family recipes are carefully following and improving to make sure the best food is attentively cooked and served with the fresh fully taste and the best quality.

Why We Started Centre Thai — And What We Want You to Feel When You Walk In

When we opened Centre Thai on High Street in Melton, people asked us what kind of Thai restaurant we wanted to be. The honest answer is: the one we always wished existed.
Not the kind that plays it safe. Not sweet where it should be bold, or mild where it should have a little fire. We wanted to cook Thai food the way it's meant to be — with fresh ingredients, real flavour, and the kind of care that you can actually taste.That's what drives everything we do here.

The food comes first — always

Every dish on our menu is something we stand behind. The Prawns Pad Thai, the Chicken Panang Curry, the Beef Massaman — these aren't just popular orders, they're dishes we've spent time getting right. Balanced, generous, and made from scratch. Not too sweet. Not greasy. Just honest Thai food.
We know people have had bad Thai meals before. We've had them too. That's part of why we do this — because when Thai food is cooked properly, it's something really special. We want every visit to remind you of that.

The people matter as much as the food

Running a restaurant is personal. When you come through our doors, you're not just a table number to us. We love meeting our regulars, hearing what you enjoyed, and seeing new faces discover us for the first time.
Melton has been incredibly welcoming to us, and we don't take that lightly. Every meal we send out is our way of saying thank you.

We're open Wednesday through Sunday from midday, and Monday and Tuesday from 4pm. Whether you're dining in with family, picking up on a weeknight, or ordering through Uber Eats, DoorDash. We're grateful to be part of your table. We can't wait to cook for you.
