Mesa Verde is located on the 6th floor of Melbourne’s iconic Curtin House. Our aim is to pair the beauty of long established Mexican flavours and techniques with Australian innovation and creativity whilst utilising seasonal and local produce. Be sure to add a few dashes of our explosive house-made Hazard Sauce to any dish! We’re pretty obsessed with everything agave; boasting one of Australia’s largest collections of tequila and mezcal, with a range of flights to guide the curious novice and the seasoned aficionado. Our love for agave doesn’t end there, with a list of fresh and inventive cocktails designed to get you in trouble and hero the spirit that Jimadors and Mezcaleros spend decades to produce.

Meet the tlayuda, our new fortnightly special.

A staple of Oaxacan cuisine, done our way - a large corn tortilla brushed with pork lard and grilled until perfectly crisp, then piled high with frijoles negros, house-made chorizo, grilled sweet corn and queso Oaxaca. Finished with Thai basil and a smoky-tangy chile morita salsa.
