PLEASE READ BELOW BEFORE CONFIRMING YOUR ORDER
- A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking for your nominated date.
-No cancellations or postponements within 1 week of event.
-No further changes to order (special occasion cakes) once deposit has been paid
- Bookings are only confirmed on receipt of the deposit
- Full pa

yment is required 7 days prior to your event
- It is the customerโ€™s responsibility to advise of any food allergies or dietary requirements at the time of booking
- Buttercream Cakes require refrigeration up to 1 hr prior to serving- depending on weather this time may need to be lengthened or shortened.
- Cakes should be consumed within 3-4 days and should be wrapped and refrigerated while being stored
- Inspiration photos are just that- Exact colours cannot be guaranteed. Exact flowers cannot be guaranteed and are subject to availability. I will, however, do my best to match with the same colour palette.
- No responsibility will be taken for cakes once they leave my premises. I will take photos of everything that leaves my kitchen.
- We offer a delivery service. I highly recommend customers take advantage of this to ensure your cake gets to you in the best condition possible.
- If you opt for delivery, you will be given a delivery time frame, It is the customerโ€™s responsibility to be home to receive your product, if no-one is home we will leave the product in what we deem to be the safest place- Please remember your product needs to be refrigerated- No Responsibility will be taken if we have given a time and no-one is there to receive the product
- Once Payment has been made please send through payment confirmation with a delivery address (If we are delivering) and a contact number
- No changes to your order can be made once your order is confirmed or within 10 days (for celebration cakes)
- Please use your name and order date as the reference when making payments

Recently I was asked if I use a custard powder to make my custard or if I make it the traditional Italian way. My reply was NO WAY! The custard which we make is made from scratch! Eggs, cream, milk as well as some other ingredients (๐Ÿ˜‰) and finished off with real chocolate (not Cocoa powder).
That is our point of difference and why I always say not all cannoli are the same!!!

Last minute dessert? We have these available this weekend. They will be made fresh when you order, limited quantities.

It has been a busy week and I'll be posting over the next few days but let's start with this one. Marcus was told he was getting a cannoli cake for his birthday but was instead surprised with this beauty by his family. This morning I was asked if i had been baking for long, so for those who don't know my background, and as a little refresher for those who doโ€ฆ this is for you. โค๏ธ
Although I came from a legal background, my career in hospitality started when, like a lot of mums, my kids needed less and less of my time and I suddenly found myself with a need to do "something ".
I had always loved baking in my own kitchen, but we just couldn't eat everything I was making. And although I've always been a sharer, even my friends and family started saying, "No more!" ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ
I decided to go back to school- as an older student, I wasn't sure but I took the plunge and enrolled. I dragged myself to the city, (if you know me you know I hate going to the city), and completed my Certificate III in Retail Baking and Patisserie.
I survived the commute, survived being an older student and, most importantly, survived the realisation that I actually had to study and not just eat cake all day ๐Ÿ˜
From there, I got a job at 4DOORS, a restaurant in Mill Park, where I worked alongside an amazing pastry chef and experienced what it was really like to work in a commercial kitchen.
It was hard work, but I loved every minute and we had so much fun too ๐Ÿ’Ž
I was given the freedom to create and my ideas and input were valued, which helped me grow in confidence and taught me so much about working in the industry.
My bosses didn't just encourage me while I worked there โ€” when the restaurant closed, they generously gave me their customer list so I could continue my baking journey. Some of you are still with me today- thank-you ๐Ÿ’—
I honestly don't think I would be where I am today without that opportunity.
So, here I am.
Still baking. Still creating from my fully registered kitchen.
Cannoli, cakes, pastries, breadโ€ฆ I love it.
New products are on the horizon so that I can make use of what i was taught both at school and in the 4DOORS kitchen. They may only make an appearance for limited periods because, let's be honest, cannoli and cakes will always be my first love-after family of course. Whether you've been with me for a short time or long time, i appreciate it and thank you๐ŸŽ‚๐Ÿฐ
