In the past, rice was cooked in a large iron pot called a ‘sot’.
Once the rice was ready, people would gather around the table to share a meal together.
The sot was more than just a pot. It was something that brought everyone together around a warm meal.
That’s where our name, SOT, comes from.
It’s this spirit of gathering and sharing that we bring to SOT today.
