34 Franklin St holds 169 years of rich history within its’ bluestone walls, enjoyed by Melbournians and visitors alike. Some might recognise its Victorian facade from the days as Mac’s Hotel or Miss Libertine. Now housing Captain Melville, it has become a popular destination within the CBD to embrace your local. Head Chef Mark Santos has been cooking for the Captain for 10 years and has modernised the menu into a seasonally driven and down to earth dining experience. Collecting produce weekly from Queen Victoria Markets, he aims to bring you only the freshest Victorian ingredients. Our vast range of craft beers will feature hops to suit every tasting palette alongside delectable Australian wines and a constantly evolving cocktail menu…what more could you ask for?
