Australia is home to some incredible reptiles, and the Murray-Darling Carpet Python is definitely one of them.

Found throughout parts of the Murray-Darling Basin, these pythons are curious, intelligent snakes that are often seen basking in the morning sun or tucked away in a cosy hide. Their beautiful earthy colours don't just look impressive, they provide excellent camouflage in their natural environment.

Today's mission: count everything.

The reptiles don't want to sit still.
The fish refuse to line up.
And we're pretty sure the insects are actively working against us.

Jurassic Jungle is closed today while we complete stocktake, but we'll be back open as normal tomorrow.

Jurassic Jungle will be closed on Tuesday 9th June for stocktake and will reopen as normal the following day.
