Come and join us for the historic and iconic Belgrave Lantern Parade on June 20, from 3pm to 8pm ✨ Parade to start as the sun goes down approx 5.20 pm -530 pm

This event is so much bigger than Belgrave. It is a celebration of collective creativity, solidarity, care and joy. A literal and figurative beacon of light during the darkest reaches of the year.

Each year, the streets, alleyways and public spaces of Belgrave are transformed into vibrant playgrounds of dancing light, music, art and creativity.

🎭 5 major youth groups
🏪 100 local shop owners
..all contribute their unique essence to an event that continues to strengthen and shape our local identity.

In 2026, youth-activated spaces and creative precinct pop-ups will take festivalgoers throughout Belgrave to discover live music, workshops, circus arts, DJs, food trucks, fire pits and more.

The Belgrave Lantern Parade represents this township’s commitment to community, inclusivity, creativity and supporting young people through free, safe and accessible events.

The Lost woods market is the place to be today 9th May in the hills. Filled with Mothers Day gifts, crafts, entertainment, local food and Autumn vibes. Come and see us bright and early for hot paella. Sending a big thank you with giant hugs to mums everywhere, especially my Mother who is with me throughout all my crazy ideas. You do not want to miss attending the last Hill and Ridge market at Red Hill Reserve for the season. It kicks off at 9am Saturday 2nd May til 2pm. Full of gift ideas for mum and some of the best foodies on the Peninsula. We will be preparing your paellas early to be ready for the crowds.
Sunday 3rd May will take us into the Yarra Valley for the Yarra Glen market, see you all there 9-2pm but bring a brollie.

Heads up everyone: these are the best veggies to plant in Autumn. Get cracking as the weather is great and the seeds will love the warm beds.
Brassicas - kale, mizuna, mustard greens, Pak choy
Cool season veg - broad beans, coriander, fennel, garlic, peas
Leafy greens - lettuce, rocket, silverbeet, spinach
Spread everywhere - beetroot, carrots, chives, parsley, radishes, herbs

What a perfect weekend for Easter!! Everyone is heading to the Mornington Peninsula this weekend for the Hill and Ridge Community Market. Market opens Saturday 04.04.26 at 9-2pm and is filled with local crafts, food and local produce. Come along and support small business, roam through the hundreds of crafts, pick up your fresh breads, eggs, preserves, fruit n veg, arts and flowers. Sunday 5.04.26 finds us at Yarra Glen Racecourse market for Easter Sunday with live music, all your favourite dishes and crafts. Market runs 9-2pm

This is my happy place, a warm kitchen bubbling with excitement and creativity. Just touching base with you all as I have been busy working and learning from &co hub for three weeks, taking a deep dive into community spaces and meeting the most amazing people. This of course has lead to so much creativity and I remind you all that our kitchens are the heart of creating yourselves literally from the inside out. Building strong cells with nutrition, understanding yourselves under pressure, adding to your skill sets and mindfulness. Amongst other creations, today my kitchen will become a lantern creating station for a special birthday. What wonderful delicious things are you all creating?
