Meet Max and Sara. FOH Assistant Managers.

“Our journey in hospitality started long before we met. We both began working in restaurants at 16 in Rimini, Italy, where we learned the value of hard work, teamwork, and making people feel genuinely welcome. Years later, we met while working at a fine dining restaurant in our hometown, and quickly discovered a deep and shared passion for creating memorable experiences through food, wine, and hospitality.

Three years ago, we moved to Australia and joined the opening team at Lucia. Since day one, we’ve helped shape the venue’s culture, standards, and guest experience. As Assistant Managers, we love leading our team, supporting one another, and bringing our different strengths to the floor. Sara with her energy, creativity, and love of people and wine, and Max with his calm approach, attention to detail, and passion for operations.

For us, Lucia is more than a restaurant. It’s a reflection of everything we believe hospitality should be: refined yet relaxed, professional yet personal, and always focused on making people happy. We believe true hospitality comes from anticipating guests’ needs before they even ask, paying attention to the smallest details, and creating moments that feel personal and unforgettable.”

AN INTIMATE DINNER CELEBRATING ONE OF BRUNELLO’S MOST RESPECTED PRODUCERS WITH WINES PRESENTED BY THE LE CHIUSE TEAM VISITING DIRECTLY FROM ITALY.
Le Chiuse is one of Montalcino’s most historic and respected estates, with deep ties to the legendary Biondi-Santi family - the pioneers of Brunello di Montalcino. Producing small quantities from organically farmed vineyards, the estate is celebrated for elegant, age-worthy Brunellos that reflect the tradition and purity of Tuscany’s most iconic wine region.

Enjoy a seasonal 4-course menu including canapés on arrival, thoughtfully paired to showcase the elegance and depth of Brunello di Montalcino through Le Chiuse wines, in an intimate, communal setting. Limited to 28 guests.
