The 1986 Penfolds Grange is widely considered the best Grange of the entire 1980s. The final vintage under Chief Winemaker Don Ditter, blending 87% shiraz with 13% cabernet sauvignon from Barossa, Clare Valley and McLaren Vale. Still drinking beautifully decades on.
