A big thank you to Paul and everyone who joined us at MuNoir for our Eldorado Road Winemaker Tasting. It was lovely sharing great wines, food and stories about Eldorado Road and Beechworth with you.

We’re very grateful for your support of the boutique wine producers we love to share at MuNoir. It means a lot to have you here and to see you enjoying their wines with us.

A big thank you also to Dan and our team for all their hard work behind the scenes to make the afternoon happen.

Mun is already working on more new wine tasting events, and we look forward to welcoming all wine lovers and enthusiasts again soon.

MEET THE WINEMAKER | ELDORADO ROAD

We’re bringing Paul Dahlenburg (Bear), winemaker and owner of Eldorado Road, to MuNoir for a Sunday afternoon of wine, food and conversation on 30 August 2026.

We’ve been pouring Eldorado Road wines for more than six months, and they’ve quickly become one of our favourites. Now it’s time to meet Paul, hear the stories behind the wines, and discover more about Beechworth, its cool climate and distinctive granite soils.

Join us on SUNDAY 30 AUGUST, 2–4 PM at MuNoir.

Meet Seb 🍷

Seb has been part of the MuNoir team since we first opened nearly 2.5 years ago. Over the years, he has developed a strong passion for wine through university studies, WSET, and hands-on experience as a MuNoir-trained sommelier. He is currently continuing his wine journey with WSET Level 3.

With growing wine knowledge and a warm personality on the floor, Seb loves helping guests discover new wines while enjoying great food, wine, and company. He is very familiar with both our menu and wine list, and enjoys recommending wines based on each guest’s personal preferences.

Outside of MuNoir, Seb enjoys football, films, reading, and of course wine. His favourite styles include Pinot Noir and, so far, Valtellina Nebbiolo.

If you see Seb around, feel free to say hi and chat wine with him.

Vintage 2026 - Véraison is happening

We visited the vineyard to check on our MuNoir Pinot Noir 2026 and the grapes are changing from green to red, a sign that harvest is just around the corner. This year is warmer and the yield could be smaller, but expect a more concentrated, robust Pinot Noir.

Our team is gearing up and can’t wait to bring you the fruits of this season.

This summer, we’ve crafted a few new dishes to enjoy alongside our wines, elevating the simple pleasure of dining and sipping at MuNoir.

Drunken Chicken – Tender, aromatic, and layered with flavours from rice wine, angelica (dang gui), and astragalus (bei qi). Served cold, it pairs effortlessly with our 2024 Eldorado Chardonnay.

Salmon Tartare – Fresh, lively, and marinated in gin and Pinot, served with crisp rice crackers. Already a favourite starter, it pairs beautifully with our 2024 MuNoir Riesling.
