It means putting in the hard yards to build lasting relationships with people who provide us with the quality of coffee we know and love. Sisters Maddie and Charlie Barry reckon they fell into hospitality. What started as a small coffee shop alongside their clothing label quickly became something they loved enough to do all over again.

At Slow Market, good coffee and simple food sit alongside products from local makers and small businesses. Regulars pull up outside and the team already knows their order. Because sometimes a good coffee from someone who knows your name is enough to make your day.

From beach clean-ups to a full-blown cafe, is the new home of Emu Parade. It’s where Trish parks up between clean-ups, where the jaffles are hot, and the coffee’s even hotter. For those new here: Emu Parade is a not-for-profit turning rubbish into ritual. You pick up litter, Roly makes you a coffee. No disposables, no egos. Just hospitality powered by purpose (and old chip oil).
