So Melbourne never fails with the status of holding 4 season in a day, this time we got monsoon season down here at knead it pizza bar croydon we’re in fact we where a little better off then some of the other local business after the rains yesterday. Now we can’t blame anyone for the weather events that happen to us all but we can point out the fails that us humans can do. I have a video that I am posting of what it was like in the middle of it all and the major thing I can point out is that we had a lot of rain in the area, the main little road “The Mall” running between Bayswater road and Eastfield looked like a river and no matter how bad it looked and even after business owners placed cardboard boxes and baby witches hats (which overall nobody has needed to have really anything to block the road in the past so why would they) we had plenty of people driving up and down this short stretch of road for whatever reason they wanted to as a result just like when your on a lake etc and a boat goes by it then created small waves of water that kept pushing into the businesses that are already struggling to keep the water out. In the video it doesn’t look like much but of course we didn’t get affected as bad as the shops next to us that I gave a hand too and leant brooms etc too (which isn’t much) but it come out a bit worse for wear. Now maybe these cars didn’t affect it too much more then it was already happening but I have spoke to some that dealt with it and they said that it was a big part of how water keep flooding the shop until the back door was these people driving past without the knowledge of what was happening when they did.
Overall yes this was long and yes maybe it won’t be read but I have it off my mind and it’s out there in the world so thank you.
