Alright, guys...
So I've been doing a bit of thinking lately. More than a bit, and more than just lately, to be honest.
I'm gonna get a bit personal here, which ain't my style on social media, but here goes.
I had a little something happen on Day 1 of the shop being open.
My baby girl who I love very much (pictured here on the day we picked up the keys for the shop) decided that she was going to move up to the Gold Coast to spend time with her dad.
By this time, paperwork had been signed, bond and rent had been paid, etc. It was too late to back out of the shop.
As a bunch of you already know, she was my only family here. We moved to Adelaide together 4 years ago, and all my family are still back over in Melbourne.
I've been homesick as hell ever since. I'm miss my family and my friends.
My heart hasn't been in the shop since opening day. I'm exhausted, and I feel like I've had one foot out the whole time.
It's time for me to go home.
It's time for me to go hang out with my mum and my sister and my mates, and to watch my baby niece grow up (because at this point, she thinks I live in her mum's phone).
