Thanks for the love everyone. It was overwhelming but lovely to read all of your comments today.

If you have loved our food hop online and try to nab one of our condiments...we have a bunch of stuff in our fridges that we don't want to go to waste....

Hey Neighbours,
This is the post we didn't want to write. It's been one of those weeks (maybe months) where everything that could have possibly gone 'well' has actually gone 'not so well.'

Jas and I made the decision last week to close the restaurant. For good.

Lots of things need to go right for a little business like ours to work out and we are a bit sad to not continue on.

Thanks for the support, there have been so many people going out of their way to help us get started and continue trading throughout our time in Rezza.

We won't be open for dinner service this week but we
we will be at Rezza Fest on Friday with some fried rice and spring rolls (see previous post).

We will be hanging out in the backyard from 2pm-4pm on Saturday afternoon, we have plenty of beer and some food to eat and we would love to see you if you want to come by and say G'day.

Big Love to you all Rezza Folks. We are going to miss you!

😃 🎉 Are you a Reservoir local? Are you planning on being at Rezza Fest next weekend? Fun stuff for the whole family, especially the kids - a jumping castle, face painting and African drumming - plus we will be down there with some fried rice - including a couple of YOUR favourite RECIPES!
We will be asking for some input this week, stay tuned!

We are trying to make this a low waste event and have as much community interaction as possible!

Tell your mates, bring a picnic blanket, a refillable water bottle and a bowl and spoon for a few Chan favourites x 😃 🎉

Do you know what makes our Fried Rice awesome?

Chan VS Chan is home of the 'golden fried rice,' we can't think of a time that we would ever take this one off the menu.

Extra egg, charred corn and turmeric to make it golden in colour - plus salted fish makes it SUPER tasty!

Over the next week we will be asking you for your favourite fried rice recipes or 'killer combos.' We will be tasting a bunch of new things and we will cook some of your favourites for the Ultimate Fried Rice festival - details to come next week.

So, dust off the old recipe book, or get creative in your kitchen and make something new. Either way, we need your help.

We have a few new followers, yay! For those of you who haven't had a Feed Me at home yet, trust us - it is an awesome treat!
There are a few different options on the website but they all include a similar amount of food:
3 SNACKS
- Firecrackers
- Home made Spring Rolls and Dipping Sauce (One per person)
- Sticky drummies (2 per person)

4 MAINS
2 mains that change depending on your preference (check the website)
Golden Fried Rice
Greens in XO

DESSERT
Vanilla icecream with miso caramel and oreos

AND, if you eat in (and ask very nicely 😁 ) we will let you choose any of the dishes for mains - There you go, locals secret!

FREE NOODLES! 😁🥳😛

We're super excited to be adding another classic noodle dish (Char kuey teow) to our Chan menu!
We want as many people as possible to come and try it (and give us your feedback!)
