I'm lonely... I don't want to be lonely...

Yesterday, a regular customer came with her daughter to DA Place for coffee. Then, her daughter showed me what her mother has written on the white board they have at home. It broke 💔 my heart ❤️.

Her daughter said to me that by coming to my shop, her mother doesn't feel so isolated. But since I only open the shop from Thursday to Saturday, her mother has less chances of coming to the shop and has someone to talk to.

There are so much isolation for elderly, and I recognise it. I try to do as much as I can to help.

It was "R U OK" day yesterday too. Don't forget, a little chat does mean alot to someone, especially when they're isolated.

Chatty Cafe July 2022, Special little event.

Last Saturday, 30th of July, we have hosted a "Christmas in July" event for neighbours, who also customers from day 1. Everyone had a great time.
