It feels like only yesterday we got the keys to Sani. We built this place from the ground up during one of the toughest times imaginable. Through COVID, long days, setbacks and plenty of unknowns, we just kept showing up, believing in our product and letting the food, coffee and hospitality speak for themselves.

We never relied on front pages, magazine features or someone else to tell our story. We believed that if we stayed true to what we do, looked after our customers and put out a product we were proud of, people would keep coming back.

Over the past five years, so many people have been part of this journey. From past staff to the incredible team we have today, every one of you has helped shape Sani into what it is. To our regulars, first time visitors and everyone who has walked through our doors, thank you for helping us reach this milestone.

Most of all, thank you to the people of Brunswick for giving a small local business a chance. Five years later, we’re still here because of this community.

Here’s to Brunswick, to the people who made this possible and to many more years of Sani ahead.💚✨

Our version has a lot of character and depth behind it, which is why it’s one of our staff’s favourites. Safe to say we’ve been going through trays of it.

Our Winter Menu lands tomorrow. Here’s what you need to know. ❄️

Tomorrow, we’re introducing a brand new menu at Sani Melbourne, inspired by the flavours we love most for winter. It’s comforting, seasonal, and made from scratch with a few new favourites we think you’ll keep coming back for.

Doors open from 7:00am.

Here are just some of the new additions:
• Chinese-style congee with confit chicken leg
• Baked eggs with chorizo, whipped ricotta & our housemade focaccia
• Tiramisu French Toast with mascarpone cream
• House-made lasagna with pork & beef ragù
• Australian salmon with chickpea ragù & yoghurt
