I’m off to court over a faulty parking ticket machine that took my cash and gave me nothing.
I got frazzled, 'overstayed' they say - and now I’m staring down a fine I can’t afford.

Funny thing is questioning the reasonableness of the fine is a criminal matter. Nobody can tell me which part - the parking? The leaving it? The taking off? - makes me on-par with a machette wielding bandit... And they just don't care.

The privilege, the inertia, the slippery slope it creates — it’s dead broken.
This is not the kind of Australia I’ll vote for, and it's not one I’ll pay to sustain.

🛏️ Couple / Shared Rooms Only | 6-Month Fixed Term Shared Residential Lease Required

💰 Choose Your Rent Option:
• $100/week per person – Team Member Option
Requires a 20-hour shift per week, with the potential to reduce to 10 hours/week after the first few months depending on competency and reliability.
➕ If our café and second-hand goods operations are profitable, this option may include meals and reduce rent to as little as $1 per day for active and committed team members.

• $175/week per person – Standard Rental Option
No work required.

All options include internet and basic bills (electric blanket for heating, and fan for cooling). You pay extra for anything that uses a lot more power (air conditioning, portable heater etc).
