❤️ A Story That Touched Our Hearts ❤️

As many of you know, we’ve been running a community campaign to help those doing it tough — offering warm meals to anyone in need, thanks to the generous support of our beautiful customers. Over time, we’ve built up a credit fund from your donations, and it has already helped many families and individuals enjoy a comforting meal without worry.

We’ve received lots of kind words and touching stories from those who’ve come through — but this one really made our hearts warm and our eyes water.

A couple of weeks ago, a gentleman walked into Ranong Town and quietly asked if he could receive a meal. He told us his daughter was coming to visit, but he couldn’t afford to buy food to share with her.
Without hesitation, we prepared a few special dishes so he could enjoy that moment with his daughter — not just a meal, but a memory.

And today… he came back.
With a small present.
And this handwritten letter to say thank you — not just to us, but to every one of you who helped make it possible:

Exciting News for Ranong Town Southern Thai Cuisine!

We are thrilled to share that Ranong Town Southern Thai Cuisine has been officially reviewed and published in the Good Food Guide! This recognition is a huge milestone for our family business and a testament to our dedication to bringing authentic Southern Thai flavors to Melbourne.

Since opening our doors in 2022, our mission has always been to introduce the bold and vibrant tastes of Southern Thailand, ensuring every customer feels the warmth and comfort of home in every bite. This acknowledgment by the Good Food Guide means the world to us, and we couldn’t have achieved it without the incredible support of our loyal customers, hardworking team, and loving community.

Today was an extraordinary day at Ranong Town! We were honored to welcome some truly special guests—our loyal regulars, who have become part of our extended family, and a very distinguished group of monks visiting from Thailand.

While traveling in Australia, they made it a point to stop by and experience authentic Southern Thai cuisine. It’s moments like these that remind us why we do what we do—to bring the warmth and flavors of Southern Thailand to everyone, no matter how far from home they may be.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us today for making this day so memorable. We’re committed to ensuring every visit to Ranong Town is as special as this one.

It turns out that among our regular guests were relatives who traveled from Thailand, and to our delight, one of them happened to be a renowned actress.
