While we absolutely love what we do and are so proud to have create a space for dinners that love and enjoy what we do there are always some perceptions we quietly would like to push in right direction.

As an ethnic restaurant we are always pushed to "reclaim", "modernise", make our food "approachable", "reinvent" our food. I find all those terms nothing more than racist!

As we continually see undereasercherd work by food journalists day in day out, its important to hold your ground and push back privileged perspectives asking us to modernise/make our food "approachable".
