It has been an incredible 8 weeks since we have opened in the beautiful town of Meeniyan and we are feeling so blessed and so grateful to and reviewers for including us in their critic’s top 20 in todays .

Thank you to the amazing locals and folks from neighbouring towns as well as those who have come from afar to support our new venture by joining us for brekky, lunch and dinner these past few weeks. We are humbled.

Also a big thanks to our hardworking team who without them we would not be able to continue our passion.

We are closed today but will reopen Friday from 8.30am so head to mahob.com.au to join us at our table.

As Woody and Thida officially take over on Thursday the 1st, it's expected that the restaurant will be closed for the first half of August.

Then, all being well, the plan is to fling the doors open towards the end of the month!

It's Marty's last week at Moo's, so I felt it was only appropriate to give him shout out for a few key reasons.

Firstly, for being a man that's about Meeniyan. There's absolutely no doubt that his presence in this little country town over the past 15 years has been integral in helping it become the buzzing little piece of paradise that it is today.

Secondly, for being a brilliant boss, client and mentor. I count my lucky stars to have been a part of the Moo's team - both behind the coffee machine and behind the camera - for the past seven years. I've learned so much from the master of hospitality about business, people and life in general, and I'm super grateful for every one of the lessons.

And thirdly, because Marty is just one of the most genuine, down-to-earth, generous and wholehearted people you'll ever meet. His laugh can always be heard before you even see him, and his gorgeous energy can be felt in every room he enters. I think I can speak for South Gippsland when I say that we're very lucky to have him.

So, here's to putting your feet up and being on the receiving end of hospitality, you've certainly earned it Marty Moo!
