Pork ribs don't lie. You can tell within the first bite whether they've been done properly. Hours on the pit, the right amount of smoke, pulled at the right time.

Ours come off the bone the way they're supposed to.

Get in early if ribs are on your list, they go fast.

Sad to hear that Mrs'Sippy BBQ in Bakers Hill, Perth will be closing its doors in three weeks' time.

Glenn and Jules have been part of Perth's barbecue scene longer than just about anyone here in Perth and they've played a big part in building the community we have today.

If you've ever thought about making the trip out, or you've been meaning to head back for one more feed, now's the time. We're sure they'd really appreciate the support over these final few weeks.

From all of us at BlackIron Barbecue, thanks for everything you've done for the local BBQ community. Wishing you both all the very best for whatever comes next.

After three incredible years, we've made the heartbreaking decision to close the doors of Mrs'Sippy BBQ, with our final day of trade being Sunday 9 August.

This hasn't been an easy decision. We've fought hard, worked countless hours, and poured everything we had into this little diner. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, it's no longer viable to continue 😢

To our amazing customers, the Bakers Hill community, and everyone who made the trip to support us over the years... thank you.

Thank you for every meal shared, every kind word, every recommendation, every social media share, and every kilometre travelled just to enjoy our barbecue. Your support, loyalty, patience and understanding have meant more to us than you'll ever know 🙏❤️

What started as a dream became so much more because of you. We've met incredible people, made lifelong friends, and created memories we'll carry forever.

We still have three weeks to go, and we'd love the chance to see as many familiar faces as possible before we close the doors on 9 August.

But while the Mrs'Sippy diner chapter is coming to an end, our barbecue journey isn't.

Our passion for barbecue still burns just as strong as the day we started, you'll still find us doing what we love through catering, events, BBQ competitions, and wherever the road takes us next.

So, this isn't goodbye — it's simply the start of a new chapter, on the road.

If you've been holding off because you think we're always sold out, now's the time to come in. The colder weather has made it even easier to get a seat.

No waitlist. No drop times. Just show up.

Thursdays are our quietest night. Friday and Saturday lunch are easy going. Friday and Saturday from 5:30pm gets busy but the wait's never long.

Trading hours have changed. With the wet weather setting in, we've trimmed Thursday's close back to 7pm.

On the flipside, we're now open for lunch on Fridays 🙌

Thursdays: 5pm to 7pm or sold out
Friday Lunch: 11am to 2pm or sold out
Friday Dinner: 5pm to 8:30pm or sold out
Saturdays: 11am to 8pm or sold out

🔥 1 Meat Plate ($15.95): 100g of meat + 2 regular sides
🔥 2 Meat Plate ($23.95): 200g of meat + 2 regular sides

Choose your meats:

• Wagyu Brisket
• Pork Ribs
• Chopped Wagyu (when available)
• Sausage Link

Choose your sides:

• Mac N' Cheese
• Slaw
• Bean Salad
• Corn Crack
• Tater Salad

Eat it here by the pit, or grab a tray to go. Either way, you control the board. Walk up, tell us what you want, and watch it carved right in front of you. Once it's gone, it's gone, so don't leave it too late!
