Paesanella Cheese Manufacturers has been manufacturing cheese in Marrickville, Sydney for over 50 years in the foodservice sector. Supplying restaurants, cafe’s, deli’s, retailers, caterer’s and food manufacturer’s, all over Australia and New Zealand with their own fresh cheeses.

The Food Emporium is Paesanella own unique retail food experience and is just a few minute’s walk away from their existing factory in Marrickville. It offers a wide selection of the finest produce from Australia and around the world, specialising in cheeses and an extensive deli range, including Paesanella's own handmade products. The store also offers a variety of organic & gluten free produce. The Mozzarella Bar offers a caffe and restaurant experience like no other; featuring dishes made using Paesanella cheeses and local produce. You can create your own food board consisting of products from Paesanella's own fresh cheese range and deli bar. HOURS:

PROVOLONE DEL MONACO temporary in our store.
Provolone del Monaco is a semi-hard, aged cheese made from raw cow's milk, primarily produced in the Lattari Mountains near Naples, Italy. It has a pear-shaped form, a natural rind, and a firm, slightly crumbly texture. Aged for at least six months, it develops a rich, spicy, and slightly piquant flavor. The name “del Monaco” (meaning “of the monk”) comes from the cloaks worn by cheese traders who transported it to Naples, resembling monks' robes. It holds a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) status in the European Union.
