Started in early 2015 Chicken and Sons has set out to reinvent the iconic Aussie Chicken Shop. Mark and Adam have aimed to create a product that draws on their years of experience in the industry, that includes all hospitality, from, Michelin starred kitchens in the UK to back street pubs in Sydney. It’s with great sadness that we won’t be reopening our kitchen Marrickville Ritz Hotel.

We have had a great 3 years there but unfortunately no longer viable for us to open. We would like to thank everyone who worked, ate and enjoyed over the last 3 years. We will miss you Marrickville!.

From the roasts, burgers and Marrickville festival and amazing regulars, we will miss you all!.

And special thanks to the Ritz management and team, from past and present for being so accommodating, friendly and great to work alongside.

Hello peeps!

Such terrible times we are going through! But we must power through the best we can!

Unfortunately we have had to close our Surry hills & Marrickville stores for now...

But with great joy we will remain open at Chicken & Sons at The Orange Grove Hotel and Sydney’s favourite Chicken burger is still available.

4pm until 8pm daily!!!

We will be serving takeaway only and you can pre order by pointing your smart phone at this pic!

DEAR VALUED CUSTOMERS

A QUICK NOTE TO LET YOU KNOW THAT CHICKEN AND SONS ARE TAKING THE CURRENT COVID 19 SITUATION VERY SERIOUSLY.

TO THAT END WE THOUGHT IT PERTINENT TO INFORM OUR CUSTOMERS OF WHAT WE ARE DOING TO LIMIT THE SPREAD OF THE VIRUS IN ALL OF OUR VENUES.

IN ADDITION TO THEIR USUAL FOOD HYGIENE ROUTINES, WE HAVE ASKED OUT TEAM TO UNDERTAKE THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES:

1. WASH THEIR HANDS EVERY HOUR IN ADDITION TO THEIR EXISITING HAND WASHING ROUTINE

2. WASH ALL STAINLESS STEEL BENCHES AND SHINY SURFACES, TABLES AND CHAIRS, DOOR HANDLES AND CUSTOMER TOUCH POINTS WITH HOT SOAPY WATER TWICE DAILY AND ASWELL AS APPLYING A ALCOHOL BASED SANITISER TWICE DAILY

3. RECONFIGURE ALL OF OUR TABLES IN LINE WITH SOCIAL DISTANCING GUIDELINES

4. FOLLOW GOVERNMENT ANY INSTRUCTIONS AND GUIDELINES

YOU CAN BE SURE THAT WE ARE STAYING OPEN FOR BOTH TAKE AWAY AND IN HOUSE DINING AND ARE DOING EVERYTHING TO KEEP OUT CUSTOMERS SAFE AND WELL FED DURING THESE UNPRECEDENTED TIMES.
