There aren’t many people who haven’t spent a lazy afternoon enjoying tapas and drinks under the cotton tree at the Boat Shed. For dining in for lunch or dinner we are able to offer two hour sittings at various times in this new environment starting from 11

.30am and 5.30pm. No bookings are taken for tapas and drinks under the cotton tree by the rivers edge. We are recommended as one of the best places to relax and enjoy a superb meal looking out over the water where the Maroochy River meets the sea. Using the freshest seasonal produce sourced locally wherever possible, our chefs have created a stunning menu so diverse it caters to absolutely everyone’s tastes. Renowned for its generous servings and great wine list, the Boatshed’s value is unquestioned. So, if it’s a casual but stylish dining affair you like, the Boatshed is a must.

Crunchy golden prawns coated in coconut and spice, paired with roasted banana and finished with that famous Bundy Rum syrup that somehow ties the whole deliciously unexpected combination together.⁣
