After 8 months, it's time to say goodbye to one of our own.

While Jake has only been part of The Common team for a short time, the friendships and impact he's made feel like he's been here for years. From his cheeky Pommy humour and perfectly timed sarcasm, to his unmatched love of Common fries and those well-earned packdown beers, he's become a huge part of what makes our team special.

Whether it was staying back to help close after a long night, lending a hand wherever needed, convincing the entire crew that "one drink" after work was a great idea, or just out-right roasting Craigo behind the bar - Jake has always brought people together and made every shift a little more enjoyable.

We're incredibly grateful for everything you've brought to The Common, mate. You will be deeply missed by staff and regulars alike, and you'll always have a place here.

Make sure you pop in and say goodbye before Jake's final shift on Wednesday 10th June.
