She is a talented, switched on beautiful young lady, who has exceeded nastys expectations. She goes above and beyond for our customers and also our team! Your energy and wholesomeness lights up even our hardest and busiest days, your dedication and effort is what makes you a star ⭐️

Hey everyone 💛🐟

Just wanted to clear up a little confusion from my last post — Nasty’s is still here and proudly serving Mareeba and beyond!

I’m super excited to share that after 3 years of working at Nasty’s, I Miriam am now taking over the business. But don’t worry, nothing is changing when it comes to your favourites — you’ll still get the same delicious fish, coffee, burgers, wraps, and all the food you know and love.

We’ve been absolutely blown away by all the love and support in our first week as the new owners — it truly means so much to us 🥹

A very special thank you to Jamie Bevan and Rachel for trusting me, supporting me, and giving me the opportunity to grow within the business over the years. I’m so grateful for everything I’ve learned from you both and for your ongoing support through this new chapter.

Thank you also to my amazing family, our incredible staff and friends, and most importantly our beautiful customers — you are the heart of Nasty’s.

I’m really excited for what’s ahead and can’t wait to keep serving you all the best we can, with lots of exciting plans coming soon!

Today we officially welcome and congratulate Miriam as the new owner of Nasty’s Fish N Grill. ♥️

There honestly could not be a more deserving person to take over this business. Over the past few years and even before then, Miriam has been one of the biggest parts of Nasty’s , not only through her hard work and dedication, but through the care, passion, and energy she brings every single day.

She has helped shape the culture, standards, and atmosphere that so many people know and love about this place. Miriam is passionate about quality Gulf Caught Seafood and will continue delivering the best fish & products to our customers!

We are incredibly proud to hand the business over to someone who genuinely loves what they do and cares so deeply about the team, customers, and food behind it all.

Watch this space … the busiest, best little cafe is only getting bigger and better! We know Nasty’s is in very good hands. 🙌🏻
