Hello everyone!
Its been a while, so we thought we should post an update. As many of you are aware, Bev and Gerald left the farm last year for town-life! Jarrett has taken over the farm and garden this year. With this change of hands, we felt a name change was in order. First Pick Market Garden will now be known as Down Home Farm Produce going forward!

The plan is to keep the garden growing as normal. The produce selection may be slightly more limited this year, but we are doing our best to take the reins and learning as we go so please bear with us as we adjust to this change!

Just wanted to let people know what’s up with First Pick. We have moved to Moosomin and we came to realize that it’s going to be impossible to keep up with the growing. We are going to plant a very limited amount of produce this year and maybe we can transition into something bigger next year. Thank you to our customers for the great support. We’ve made some great friends and we’ve had a lot of fun.

I have a little extra baking, fresh this morning, if you need for Thanksgiving dinner.

1 pkg of 15 butter crust dinner rolls $10
DINNER ROLLS ARE SOLD.

2 plates of 12 butter tarts, one with raisins, 1 with pecans $20 each (plate included) ready to serve or gift.
PECAN TARTS ARE SOLD.

2 9” deep dish apple pies $16 each.

In the freezer there is a variety of cookies, a pecan pie, and a cherry pie.
