If you have never seen green coffee beans before, this is a good example (before and after images) of the same coffee bean gone through roasting process. Coffee goes through great changes in colour, size, structure, moisture, chemistry, developing oils and caramelising most of its sugar. Every detail has to be taken into consideration. The quality of the coffee you drink will depend not only on the green bean and equipment quality but also how well the roaster understands every process during the roasting process. The result can be easily tasted.

My version of a perfect Sunday morning : early rise, followed by the stunning walk from Fairlight to Manly, then topping it up with an Acai bowl (my favourite is “Nomad” bowl, so delicious) and of course a cup of coffee so well made by the barista, it made my day.
