Ginger and lemon tea

This time old remedy has survived the ages because it helps people feel better when they are unwell.
Both lemon and ginger have antiviral and antibacterial properties and are perfect both hot and cold.
As the weather changes, we become more likely to feel unwell from viral respiratory diseases. Most of the time, they are mild and harmless and require you to take a break from business, sleep, rest, nourish your body and then feel better. To help support this process, drink lots of fluids. Here is where ginger and lemon tea can play a role.⠀
R E C I P E⠀
In a blender, blitz a 5cm k**b of ginger rhizome. No blender? Grate it instead.
Add a litre of filtered water to a pot and add the ginger.
Simmer on a low heat for 15 minutes. Strain when ready.⠀
Add the juice of 1 lemon, a pinch of cayenne pepper and some unprocessed honey.
Drink throughout the day.
