Ten Minutes by Tractor is a family owned award-winning winery and operates a two-hatted fine dining restaurant located on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria. Our restaurant opened in 2006, and for us it has always been an extension of the cellar door. It’s an opportunity to learn more about our wines and how those wines can be enjoyed with great food. It’s also an opportunity for us to bring the p

roduce of the region together into an environment in which everyone can relax, and enjoy, and to understand what makes the Mornington Peninsula as special as it is. The restaurant reflects TMBT’s philosophy of making wine, our attention to detail and passion for doing the best we can to showcase the best of the Mornington Peninsula.

From Wiltshire to Main Ridge.

In a new profile with The Staff Canteen Australia, Head Chef Craig Lunn reflects on the path that brought him to the Mornington Peninsula — and why the landscape here felt familiar from the beginning.

He shares more about getting to know the growers and producers around us, working closely with our vineyards and wines, and how those connections continue to shape what happens in the kitchen.

Among the corkscrews lining the walls of our restaurant are pieces collected for their craftsmanship, ingenuity and history - but some carry a more personal story.

One is an English ‘Adelaide’ corkscrew, dating from around 1880–1920, with a horn handle and wire breaker.

It belonged to Martin’s father, Ivan, and before him, his grandfather Edward - so it has been in the family for three generations.

A collection full of little discoveries and unexpected stories.

With the release of our first 2026 wines, we’re looking back on a growing season defined by contrasts.

A cool, prolonged flowering period was followed by a mild summer and a later start to harvest. Extended ripening allowed flavour to build slowly while retaining freshness and natural acidity, resulting in wines with energy, definition and drive.
