It’s been 6 weeks 2 days since my accident it felt a lot longer - I did what I was told & took it easy , today was orthopaedic appointment- all good fractures have healed & I can walk without crutches, get back on indoor bike ( taking it easy ) then back on outdoor bike ( when I get it back) in another 6 weeks but at least I can now move around freely 🤩
So it’s back to normal from Next Tuesday enjoy the long weekend

So after the appointment with the orthopaedic surgeon yesterday, we have some good news to share - from Monday we will be back out to provide your caffeine fix, I’ll be taking it easy & mainly just driving or taking care of eftpos while I’m still on light duties. We will see how it goes as to whether it’s a full week or not (depending on physiotherapy appointments also) thanks for all your messages & we will see you Monday morning

Morning,
So one week on from my accident, the last week has been a week of home physiotherapy visits & scans, the main thing has been rest with not being allowed to put any weight on my left leg, next Tuesday I have an appointment with the orthopaedic specialist so hopefully after that we have more news.
Until then Thank you to everyone that’s sent messages & has been checking in with us both, keeping still isn’t something I’m used to doing so that’s been the hardest thing over the last week .

Just a quick update- I’ve managed to avoid surgery & got released from hospital yesterday late afternoon, plenty of follow up appointments over the next week & im home with Zimmer frame & crutches- shower & loo seat , the doc said it’s a strange fracture & lots of gravel rash- it’s going to be a long week keeping still 😂

Unfortunately Andy had an accident while out on a ride this morning, luckily the helmet stopped more damage But 2 fractures on his pelvis & surgery is required, so it’ll be no coffee for at least a couple of days. Will keep you posted
