What a morning at Primal HQ!

We welcomed over 80 people through the doors of Primal HQ, our roasting warehouse and Barista Training Centre, for this morning’s B2B Brews - organised by MRCOC and proudly brought to us by Ronald McDonald House North Australia

There’s something pretty special about seeing our roastery filled with local business people, new introductions, familiar faces, ideas being shared and conversations happening over coffee. For us, this is exactly what "Coffee is the Conversation" is all about. Coffee might bring people together, but it’s the conversations and connections that happen around it that really matter.

A big thank you to the Mackay Region Chamber of Commerce, Ronald McDonald House and everyone who joined us this morning. We loved having you at Primal HQ!

This is a pretty special one for us. 🥹☕️

A huge thank you to Man of Many, American Express and Velocity Frequent Flyer for giving Dan the opportunity to share the story behind Primal Coffee Roasters.

What started with a love of really good coffee has grown into something we’re incredibly proud of. From roasting tiny batches in the backyard to now roasting right here in Mackay and supplying more than 130 businesses, it’s pretty amazing to stop for a minute and look back at how far Primal has come.

The article also talks about some of the behind the scenes parts of growing a small business. Managing stock, cash flow, taking a chance on new packaging, supporting our local community and even using our Velocity Points to get out and meet suppliers, mentors and others in the coffee industry.

Dan would probably much rather be standing behind the roaster than talking about himself 😂 so seeing his story and Primal’s story shared like this is very cool.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us, bought a bag, grabbed a coffee, stocked Primal, recommended us or simply cheered us on along the way. You’re all part of the story. ❤️
