Itโs been a little while since Iโve checked in on here, so I thought it was time for a business update!
The past couple of months have been nothing short of amazing.
โจ We were incredibly proud to be awarded the Hastings Deering canteen tender. This has been a huge milestone for our business, and weโre excited to continue delivering quality food and service every day.
๐ป We also hit the airwaves on Star FM! Since our radio advertising started, weโve welcomed so many new clients while continuing to be supported by our amazing regular customers. Did anyone hear our ad?
๐ I was honoured to be named a finalist in the 2026 Mackay NAIDOC Small Business Awards. While I didnโt bring home the award this year, I know what this business represents.
As a proud Torres Strait Islander woman, my culture, my community involvement and my commitment to supporting people have always been at the heart of everything I do. Iโve spent my life giving back to my community, building genuine relationships and creating opportunities through my business. Awards are wonderful, but they donโt define my success. The support from our customers, our growth and the positive impact weโve made are achievements Iโm incredibly proud of, and no one can take that away.

โข Opening our second cafรฉ at Hastings Deering.
2026 is already shaping up to be our biggest year yet, and I canโt wait to share the journey with you all.
