I just thought I would put the canteen hours down here for Longford Primary School families because it’s been a bit hard for me to even keep a track on 🫣

Mondays
Breakfast club and the after lunch treat service
of ice creams, Zoppa doopa and cookies etc.

Wednesdays
Recess (students come to the canteen to choose and pay)
lunch order in the classroom
After lunch treat service
After school ice cram and milkshake service

Fridays
Recess (students come to canteen to choose and pay)
special lunch day (order in the classroom) you will have notice of what the special order will be and will be $6 a serve
After lunch treat service
After school ice cream and milkshake service

Families don’t forget you can get a coffee in the mornings on these days too 👌

Soooooo yesterday was such a success that we are going to do a lunch special day every Friday.

Cooking for children is extremely stressful as they are they are brutally honest 🫣😂
Yesterday when some beautiful students came to the kitchen to tell me how much they enjoyed it my heart burst and chatting with them to see if it’s something they would like every week, their eyes lit up ❤️❤️❤️❤️
So each Friday there will be a lunch special available only to order. We will advise in advance but this coming Friday the 17th will be fried rice.

Also excited to tell you that breakfast club will be starting back up next Monday morning 👏👏👏lots of full tummy’s and happy hearts ❤️

Longford Primary School families, due to the change of the school day on Friday I had planned to do no lunch service.. BUT…we are going to have a spaghetti bolognaise day!
It will be the only option offered for lunch this Friday.
Just quietly I think it will be a hit. 😋
$6 a serve and the process will be the same that the children will order in their classroom in the morning. Recess and after lunch Ice cream and milkshake service will be the usual. ❤️

For the athletics carnival tomorrow I will be there to feed our adults.
If we don’t get blown away overnight 🫣
We will have the following available
coconut chia pudding, with crunchy granola, fresh raspberry’s and yoghurt
Our rice and quinoa with roasted vegetable salad with the sides of dressing and lemon
Edwinas eggy sandwiches
Milkshakes
Ice coffee or ice chocolates ( sadly can’t bring the coffee machine)
And plenty of sweet treats
Eftpos available
