Well… this one came with a side of perimenopause brain!

My perimenopause brain officially got the better of me! I was asked to make a cake… somehow, somewhere along the way, my brain decided it was for a female — when in fact, it was for a male. I completely overlooked the details. 🤦‍♀️

So this gorgeous black, silver and white cake ended up being slightly more feminine than intended! 🦋🖤✨

I’m hoping it gave everyone a good laugh! And hopefully the Hokey Pokey ice cream cake tasted so good that it made up for my little brain blunder🍦🍯😂

This custom makeup-inspired ice cream cake was made with four delicious layers:

🍦 Vanilla Bean ice cream with white chocolate ganache & marshmallow filling
🍪 Cookies & Cream ice cream with brownie & ganache filling
🍫 Choc Mint ice cream with M&M’s & marshmallow filling
🍫 Rocky Road ice cream

All finished in smooth, fresh cream and topped with a fun mix of makeup details, florals, gold accents and plenty of sparkle. 💕✨

Our Drift Cake starts with a rich brownie base, topped with creamy Cookies & Cream ice cream, then finished with a decadent brownie and ganache centre hidden inside. Every bite is packed with chocolatey goodness! 😍

As the maker, I don’t often get the chance to enjoy a slice of the cakes I create, but this was one of those rare occasions… and wow, it did not disappoint. Rich, creamy, fudgy and absolutely delicious. 🤤

Safe to say this one is a personal favourite!
