To every emergency service worker and volunteer in our community—thank you. 💛

Behind every siren and flashing light is a person who chose to step away from their family dinner, their weekend plans, and the comfort of their own homes to answer someone else's emergency call. You sacrifice so much personal time so that we can sleep safely at night.

More than that, we know the weight you carry goes beyond the hours you give. You witness and experience trauma that the rest of us can only imagine. Despite the heavy tolls this work takes on your minds and hearts, you continue to show up with bravery, compassion, and unwavering dedication.

You don't do it for the recognition, but we want you to know that your sacrifices are seen, felt, and appreciated more than words can express. Thank you for being our safety net in our darkest hours.

No need to be polite when it comes to the the people we love and road safety.

Its National Road Safety week and what better time to talk about Road Trauma.

Road trauma, grief and loss knows no boundaries. No one should feel they need to hide the profound impact a tragic event, regardless of the circumstances, has had on the family, friends, first responders, Emergency Service Workers both volunteers and proffessional and bystanders.

Join the Australian Proffessional Firefighters Association and us at the Amberlight for a casual coffee and a chat on Saturday 23rd from 1.30pm until 4pm. Because being together builds stronger connections and community.

Only a week to go and the forecast weather is cold and sunny. Lucky we have complimentaty coffee and hot chocolate on offer thanks to the MFS Association

The girls and I are very grateful to the MFS Association for asking us to host this very relaxed gathering. They are passionate about highlighting that you are not alone. Acknowledging the very real grief experienced by not only their members, CFS, SES, Police, SA Ambulance Paramedics and volunteers, first responders, family, friends and bystanders experince during traumatic events.

Tradgedy touches us all at some point either directly or indirectly. Lets work together to help each other navigate a way through the hard times with empathy and kindness.

See you all Saturday. Remember, ride safe , someone fu***ng loves you. 🧡🧡🧡
