I’m currently on a journey to making the perfect cinnamon scrolls! This batch was made using the Tangzhong method - making a paste out of flour which is added to the dough to make it extra light & fluffy for days.
The family thinks my last batch was the best I’ve made so we’ll see what they say about this lot!
And if they’re not perfect - I guess I’ll just have to keep trying….😝

My relationship with fondant has certainly evolved over the last few years! I used to hate working with it & wouldn’t do many cakes that required large amounts of fondant; but I’ve slowly challenged myself & almost find them enjoyable now….! 😝 This was a fun one to make for Jonny - the boss over at MIGHTY MIGHTY Coffee Roasters ☕️

To see a family working so hard together, making sacrifices & giving back to the community to be treated like this is so unfair.

***All gone!***
I was making some brown sugar apple crumble for dessert tonight when nana Cindy Langmead comes over & I started thinking it may be something people are interested in?
This size easily feeds 4-5, probably closer to 6 smaller servings & weighs a hefty 850gms! I’m thinking $10 each.

I actually have 2 spare, straight out of the oven sitting right here if anyone wants a winter treat! They can be frozen & then just heated in the oven at a later time too!
If it’s something you’d like to see me make more of comment down below. Or if you’d like one I made today comment sold!
